Highway Submerged in Kentucky Amid ‘Historic’ Flooding


A highway in Glendale, Kentucky, was submerged under floodwater on Sunday, April 6, as dangerous and historic flooding swept through parts of the state.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning valid until Thursday morning, April 10.

The Kentucky River was predicted to peak at 49.5 feet on Sunday afternoon – the highest recorded level in history.
