Police are investigating the theft of items worth about £15,000 from the University of Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire Police said the thefts were reported across the University Park campus, at Wollaton, between 16:00 and 18:00 BST on 18 March.

On Sunday, the force said a significant number of items had been taken including hi-tech camera equipment and laptops.

Personal items, including bank cards, worth about £3,000, were also reported stolen from university staff and students.
